Consideration of Appointment of Secretary to the Planning Commission
Purpose
PURPOSE/BACKGROUND:
Bonnie N. Brown is no longer employed as the Director of the Community Development Department, and, as such, is not eligible to continue to serve as Secretary to the Planning Commission. Therefore, the Planning Commission must designate a new Secretary.
The Planning Commission bylaws state that the Commission shall designate the Director of Community Development or his authorized designee as the Secretary to the Commission. Jason Mitchell, as Interim Director of the Community Development Department, has designated Kimberly Mikel, Deputy Director of the Community Development Department, to serve as Secretary to the Planning Commission.
