Briefing on Virginia Erosion and Stormwater Management ACT (VESMA)
Purpose
PURPOSE/BACKGROUND:
The State Water Control Board approved and adopted the Virginia Erosion and Stormwater Management (VESM) regulation at their June 22, 2023 Meeting. The new VESM regulation requires the update of local ordinances.
Discussion:
Public Works staff will provide an overview of the consolidated Stormwater Management and Erosion Control Ordnance.
