Consideration of Appointments to the Board of Zoning Appeals
Purpose
PURPOSE/BACKGROUND:
Sean Cummings has served a partial term and is eligible for reappointment to another term. Council is being asked to reappoint him to serve a first full term until December 31, 2029.
Michelle Ferebee has resigned effective December 31, 2024. Council is being asked to appoint an individual to serve the unexpired portion of the term until December 31, 2025.
A vacancy remains for an alternate created by Chip McErlean who was recently appointed to a member. Council is being asked to appoint an individual to serve the unexpired portion of the term until December 31, 2026.
There are individuals in the Board Bank who have expressed a desire to serve on this board. Those applications are being provided to Council.

Council is being asked for their recommendation to send to the Hampton Circuit Court.
Members of this board shall hold no other public office in the City except that one may be a member of the Planning Commission.
