Purpose
Background Statement:
The applicant, Dyon Banks, proposes to operate a used vehicle sales business, Diversified Automotive, LLC, at 2469 W Pembroke Avenue. The site is zoned General Commercial (C-3) District, which permits vehicle sales, used with an approved use permit.
The proposal consists of an existing 801 sq. ft. building for office and garage space and an improved parking area for sales inventory and customer and staff parking. There would be two (2) employees and proposed hours of operation would be Monday-Saturday 10am-6pm.
The Hampton Community Plan (2006, as amended) recommends commercial land use for this portion of the W. Pembroke Avenue corridor, including the subject site.
