Consideration of appointments to the Board of Directors of the Peninsula Agency on Aging (PAA)
Purpose
PURPOSE/BACKGROUND:
Nakia Cook has resigned effective April 19, 2017, and Council is being asked to appoint a replacement to serve the unexpired portion of her term until September 30, 2017.
***NOTE***
In September, 2016, Thomas Fukawa was inadvertently appointed to the PAA Board and then the appointment was withdrawn to allow Ms. Cook to serve out her three year term. Mr. Fukawa has served on the PAA Advisory Council for the past year.
There are individuals in the Board Bank who have expressed a desire to serve on this board. Those applications are being provided to Council.
