Closed session pursuant to Virginia Code Sections 2.2-3711.A (.1) (.3) (.6) (.7) and (.8) to discuss appointments as listed on the agenda; to discuss the potential acquisition of real property for public purpose in the North Armistead Avenue corridor and potential investment of public funds in the LaSalle Corridor; to consult with legal counsel regarding specific legal issues affecting the referenced transactions; and to consult with legal counsel regarding potential settlement of pending litigation where such consultation or briefing in open meeting would adversely affect the negotiating or litigating posture of the public body.
