Purpose
PURPOSE/BACKGROUND:
The leadership of Virginia Peninsula Community College plans to provide a brief overview of the college, highlighting the ways in which they have positively impacted education and workforce outcomes for residents of Hampton. This overview includes enrollment trends across academic programs, dual enrollment, and workforce training specifically for Hampton residents. Additionally, they will highlight new physical transformations happening at the college. The goal in presenting this information is to raise awareness of their mission to advance economic mobility within the City of Hampton and to explore meaningful opportunities to partner with City Council in addressing challenges and identifying solutions that strengthen and transform our communities.
