Purpose

PURPOSE/BACKGROUND:

This presentation at the request of City Council will provide an overview of diversity within the Fire and Police Divisions, outreach programs and recruiting efforts.

Discussion:

This presentation will highlight current local, regional and national statistical information, outreach programs, various recruitment techniques and new programs that will be implemented in the near future to ensure a diverse public safety workforce.
