Consideration of appointments to Athletic Hall of Fame
Purpose
PURPOSE/BACKGROUND:
Rodney Gentry no longer resides in Hampton and, as such, he is no longer eligible to serve. Council is being asked to appoint a replacement to fill an expired term until January 31, 2020.
Lynn Burke has served four induction cycles so is not eligible to continue. Council is being asked to appoint a replacement until June 30, 2022.
There are individuals in the Board Bank who have expressed a desire to serve on this board. Those applications are being provided to Council.
NOTE: This committee only meets during the induction cycle which is every three years. The last induction cycle was in 2017.
