Consideration of Appointments to the Hampton-Newport News Community Services Board (CSB)
Purpose
PURPOSE/BACKGROUND:
Sheriff Karen Bowden has served one term and is eligible for reappointment to another term. Council is being asked to reappoint her to serve a second term until June 30, 2026.
Susan Harris resigned from the board. Council is being asked to appoint an individual to fill the unexpired term until June 30, 2025.
There are individuals in the Board Bank who have expressed a desire to serve on this board. Those applications are being provided to Council.
