Closed session pursuant to Virginia Code Sections 2.2-3711.A.1, .3, and .7 to discuss appointments to the Transportation District Commission of Hampton Roads; to discuss or consider the acquisition of real property for a public purpose, or the disposition of publicly held real property in the Downtown Hampton and Langley Corridor areas where discussion in an open meeting would adversely affect the bargaining position or negotiating strategy of the City; and to consult with legal counsel employed or retained by the City regarding actual or probable litigation, and specific legal matters pertaining to land use applications, the Fair Labor Standards Act, and a coastal primary sand dune and beaches ordinance requiring the provision of legal advice by such counsel.
