Consideration of Appointments to the Hampton Senior Citizens Advisory Committee
Purpose
PURPOSE/BACKGROUND:
Remi Travis Wright and Cassandra Townsley have both served one term and are eligible for reappointment to another term. Council is being asked to reappoint them to serve a another term until May 30, 2029.
There are individuals in the Board Bank who have expressed a desire to serve on this board. Those applications are being provided to Council.

Applicants Currently Serving on Other Board/Commissions:
Kathryn Wiesmann currently serves on the Social Service Local Advisory Board until December 31, 2026, and Citizens Engagement Advisory Review Commission (CEARC) until June 30, 2025.
Quincey Byrd currently serves on the Social Services Local Advisory Board until March 31, 2029.
Joya Tynes currently serves on the Golf Course Advisory Committee until January 31, 2027.
Dr. Martha Tennille currently serves on the Hampton VA250 Committee until October 31, 2026.
Karen Scott currently serves on the Hampton Clean City Commission until February 28, 2028 and the Coliseum Advisory Committee until December 31, 2026.
Philip Siff currently serves on the Mayors' Committee for People with Disabilities until February 28, 2028, and Hampton Animal Response Team Advisory Committee (HARTAC) until February 28, 2027.
