Consideration of appointments to Citizens' Engagement Advisory Review Commission (CEARC)
Purpose
PURPOSE/BACKGROUND:
CEARC by-laws recommend a core group of thirteen members be maintained.
Steve Brown resigned December 1, 2016, and Council is being asked to appoint a replacement to fill his unexpired term until June 30, 2020.
Joshua Head moved out of the City effective August 31, 2016, and Council is being asked to appoint a replacement to fill his unexpired term until June 30, 2019.
Ebony Majeed, Vice Chair moved out of the City in February and has submitted her resignation. Council is being asked to appoint a replacement to fill her unexpired term until June 30, 2019.
Council is also being asked to appoint two individuals to fill vacancies to a five year term to expire on March 30, 2022.
There are individuals in the Board Bank who have expressed a desire to serve on this board. Those applications are being provided to Council.
