Consideration of Appointments to the Citizens Police Advisory Group (CPAG)

 

Purpose

PURPOSE/BACKGROUND:

 

Katelynn Shannon (Business Representative), and Pastor Joshua King (Faith Community) have resigned from the board.  Council is being asked to appoint individuals to fill the unexpired terms until January 31, 2026.

 

Two vacancies remain for representatives of Hampton University and Virginia Peninsula Community College.  Council is being asked to appoint individuals until September 30, 2028.

 

Due to an individual’s inability to attend meetings, Council is being asked to appoint an individual (Non-Profit) to fill an unexpired term until January 31, 2026. 

 

There are individuals in the Board Bank who have expressed a desire to serve on this board. Those applications are being provided to Council.
