Consideration of Appointments to the Citizens Police Advisory Group (CPAG)

Purpose
PURPOSE/BACKGROUND:

Rev. Joshua King resigned and council is being asked to appoint an individual to serve until October 31, 2029.

A vacancy remains for Institutions of Higher Education/HU and council is being asked to appoint an individual until October 31, 2029.

Natasha McCain (Non-Profit Representative) resigned. Council is being asked to appoint an individual to a first term ending October 31, 2029.

Katelyn Shannon (Business Community Representative resigned. Council is being asked to appoint an individual to a first term ending October 31, 2029.

The second term of Ann Cherry (Civil Rights Organization Representative) ends December 31, 2025, and she is eligible for reappointment (this group does not have any term limits). Council is being asked to reappoint her to another term until December 31, 2029.

There are individuals in the Board Bank who have expressed a desire to serve on this board. Those applications are being provided to Council.
