Briefing on Workforce Development Initiatives
Purpose
PURPOSE/BACKGROUND:
Update on work being done by the Economic Development Department to reduce the number of unemployed and underemployed Hampton residents and increase the number of prospective job candidates for Hampton companies.
Discussion:
Staff will also discuss the upcoming programs and services planned for employers, job seekers and youth related training and employment.
