Title
Consideration of appointments to Hampton Commission on the Arts
Purpose
PURPOSE/BACKGROUND:
Ms. Deborah Reese was originally appointed to the Hampton Commission on the Arts on March 13, 2013 and served her first term until March 31, 2016. She continued to serve until September 14, 2016, when Council reappointed her to a second term which was to expire on June 30, 2020.
Ms. Reese called the Council Office on September 28, 2016, and indicated that she is not able to accept the reappointment due to scheduling conflicts. She does wish to remain an active board bank applicant.
This creates an immediate vacancy for an individual to be appointed to a four year term.
