Consideration of Appointments to the Neighborhood Commission
Purpose
PURPOSE/BACKGROUND:
Christy Elliott resigned due to personal reasons. Council is being asked to appoint an individual to fill the unexpired portion of her term until September 30, 2021.
Deena Franklin resigned due to relocating outside of District 9. Council is being asked to appoint an individual to fill the unexpired portion of her term until September 30, 2021.
A second youth representative vacancy was created by Wesleigh Gomes who has graduated from high school. Council is being asked to appoint an individual to fill the unexpired term until October 31, 2023.
Council is being asked to appoint Lt. John Harrison to replace Paula Scheck as the Public Safety Representative.
Two vacancies remain for District 3 and District 4 and the Commission is actively searching for individuals who are interested in serving.
There are individuals in the Board Bank who have expressed a desire to serve on this board. Those applications are being provided to Council.
