Purpose

PURPOSE/BACKGROUND:

The current Interim City Attorney, Steven D. Bond, has been appointed as Judge of the General District Court in Hampton, Virginia.  His last day serving as Hampton's Interim City Attorney will be June 16, 2024.  Council is in the process of hiring a new City Attorney and will appoint an Interim City Attorney to serve until the new City Attorney is hired.
