Briefing on Towing Advisory Board Recommendations
Purpose
PURPOSE/BACKGROUND:
On August 14,2024, City Council adopted a resolution re-establishing the Towing Advisory Board, and directing that Board to provide a report to City Council within one year of its first meeting regarding what, if any, provisions of the Police-Requested Towing Ordinance the Board recommended be amended. The Towing Advisory Board's first meeting was on November 19, 2025. The Board has completed its recommendations, which will be presented to staff by Hampton Police Division Corporal Kennedy.
