Continuation of City Council Appointments
Purpose
PURPOSE/BACKGROUND:
On August 12, 2020, City Council members' terms as appointees and liaisons to various bodies were assigned. Typically these appointments are revisited each time there is a change in the make-up of the City Council. When the appointments were made, the end date was set to be June 30, 2022, however, due to action by the Virginia General Assembly changing the date of local elections, this action of Council will serve to extend the terms until December 31, 2022.
