Resolution Approving Fiscal Year 2025 Year-End Budget Adjustments
Purpose
PURPOSE/BACKGROUND:
The City Charter Section 6.12 (d), titled "Transfer of appropriations," provides that at any time during the fiscal year the City Manager may transfer part or all of any unencumbered appropriation balance within a department, office or agency, and such transfers shall be reported to the council at least quarterly. Upon recommendation by the City Manger, the Council may by resolution transfer part or all of any unencumbered appropriation from one department, office or agency to another.
Discussion:
The attached represents the Fiscal Year 2025 Year-End Budget Adjustments for City Council Action. The budget adjustments which require notification, if any, will be sent under separate cover.
Impact:
There is no fiscal impact.

WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 6.12(d) of the City Charter of the City of Hampton, at any time during the fiscal year, the City Manager may transfer all or part of any unencumbered appropriation balance within a department, office, or agency, which shall be reported to City Council at least quarterly. Upon recommendation by the City Manager, the Council may by resolution transfer part or all of any unencumbered appropriation from one department, office or agency to another;
BE IT RESOLVED that the City Manager has recommended and, by this resolution, the City Council of the City of Hampton, Virginia approves the attached Fiscal Year 2025 Year-End Budget Adjustments for transfers from one department, office, or agency to another department, office, or agency.
