Consideration of Appointments to the Hampton Redevelopment & Housing Authority (HRHA)
Purpose
PURPOSE/BACKGROUND:
Valerie Purcell's term ended on December 31, 2021, and she has been serving on the HRHA Board in the role of a resident until a replacement could be identified. The Board of the Hampton Redevelopment and Housing Authority has reviewed an application and is recommending the appointment of Clarissa Wright.
Will Moffett recently passed away and Council may wish to consider appointing an individual to fill the unexpired portion of his term which was to conclude on June 30, 2023.

Michael Harris currently serves on the Board of Zoning Appeals until December 31, 2024. He is not eligible to serve per Hampton Zoning Code 13-1. "Members of the board shall hold no other public office in the city except that one may be a member of the Planning Commission."
Reginald Warren currently serves on the PPOC until June 30, 2022
