Consideration of Appointments to the Virginia Air & Space Center Board
Purpose
PURPOSE/BACKGROUND:
Dr. Jeffery Smith's term ended on June 30, 2019, and he is eligible to be reappointed for a second term ending October 31, 2023.
There are three other vacancies on this board. Robert Griesmer is requesting that Dr. Christine Darden be appointed to one of those vacancies, leaving two vacancies to be filled at a later date.
There are individuals in the Board Bank who have expressed a desire to serve on this board. Those applications are being provided to Council.
