Closed session pursuant to Virginia Code Sections 2.2-3711.A (.1) (.3) (.6) and (.8) to discuss appointments as listed on the agenda; the potential disposition of publicly held real property in the Buckroe and Coliseum Central areas, where discussion in an open meeting would adversely affect the city’s bargaining position or negotiating strategy; the potential acquisition of property for public purpose, potential disposition of publicly-owned property, and potential investment of public funds in the LaSalle Corridor, where discussion in open session would adversely affect the city’s financial interest and negotiating strategy; and consultation with legal counsel regarding specific legal issues affecting the referenced transactions.
