Closed session pursuant to Virginia Code Sections 2.2-3711.A (.1) to discuss appointments as listed on the agenda, (.3) to discuss the possible disposition of publicly held real property in the Phoebus area where discussion in an open meeting would adversely affect the bargaining position or negotiating strategy of the city; (.6 and .8) to discuss the potential investment of public funds for the Peninsula Airport Commission, where bargaining is involved and, if discussed publicly, would affect the city’s financial interest, and consultation with legal counsel regarding legal issues affecting the same; (.8) to consult with legal counsel regarding legal options pertaining to a terminated federal grant and legal issues affecting a proposed development project; and (.7) to consult with legal counsel regarding possible settlement of pending litigation, in advance of scheduled mediation session.
