Consideration of Appointments to the Citizens' Unity Commission (CUC)
Purpose
PURPOSE/BACKGROUND:
Anne Andrews' term ended on June 30, 2019, and she is not eligible for reappointment. Council is being asked to appoint an individual to fill her vacancy until October 31, 2023.
Ray Smith was reappointed on July 10, 2019, and has declined due to personal reasons. Council is being asked to appoint an individual to fill his vacancy until October 31, 2023.
Imara Diaz resigned on July 26, 2019, due to his acceptance as the Program Coordinator with the CUC. Council is being asked to appoint an individual to fill his vacancy until October 31, 2023.
There are individuals in the Board Bank who have expressed a desire to serve on this board. Those applications are being provided to Council.
