Consideration of Appointments to the Building Code Board of Appeals
Purpose
PURPOSE/BACKGROUND:
UPDATE FOR SEPTEMBER 9, 2020 - No new applications received in the Board Bank.
UPDATE FOR AUGUST 12, 2020 - No new applications received in the Board Bank.
Michael Jackson's term expires on June 30, 2020, and he has requested that he not be reappointed. The building code states that at least one member of the body should be an experienced property manager and Mr. Jackson served in that role. Council is being asked to appoint an individual to a term which will end on June 30, 2025.
There are individuals in the Board Bank who have expressed a desire to serve on this board. Those applications are being provided to Council. At least one of the individuals in the Board Bank is a realtor which would fulfill this requirement.
