Consideration of Appointments to the Hampton FADA
Purpose
PURPOSE/BACKGROUND:
Nhu Yeargin declined his appointment. Council is being asked to appoint an individual to serve a first term until February 28, 2028.
Charlotte Hurd has resigned from the board. Council is being asked to appoint an individual to full the unexpired portion of her term until October 31, 2025.
Paula Hogg has served two consecutive terms and is not eligible for reappointment. Council is being asked to appoint an individual to serve a first term until February 28, 2028.
There are individuals in the Board Bank who have expressed a desire to serve on this board. Those applications are being provided to Council.

Irina Gorbunova-Ford currently serves on the Parks & Recreation Advisory Board until June 30, 2027
Remi Travis Wright currently serves on the Parks & Recreation Advisory Board until March 31, 2026, and the Hampton Senior Citizens Advisory Committee until March 30, 2025
Jonathan Oliveras currently serves on the Board of Zoning Appeals (BZA) until December 31, 2026 - NOTE: Section 13.1 Members of the BZA shall hold no other public office in the city except that one (1) may be a member of the Planning Commission.
