Consideration of Appointments of Council Liaisons to Various Boards, Commissions and Committees

Purpose

PURPOSE/BACKGROUND:

There are many Boards, Commissions and Committees where members of Council serve as liaisons.  Traditionally, when a new member of Council is seated, these assignments are reconsidered.

For many years, former Councilman Will Moffett served as a liason to the FEMA Food and Emergency Shelter Board.  This body only meets as needed and there is no current Hampton liaison to the Board.  As such, that vacancy is also being listed for Council's consideration.   

Council is being asked to appoint successors for the liaison responsibilities of the outgoing member of Council and to consider any other changes they wish to accomplish.
