Update on Local Activities to Address Homelessness
Purpose
The Hampton Department of Human Services in cooperation with The Peninsula Commission on Homelessness, Hampton Roads Ecumenical Lodgings and Provisions, Inc. (H.E.L.P.) and other community and non-profit agencies have made great efforts to address the needs of our homeless population. As winter approaches, this seems an appropriate time to inform City Council and our citizens of the efforts that are underway and ways to connect those in need with services.
