..Purpose

PURPOSE/BACKGROUND:

The Virginia Municipal League (VML) annual business meeting will take place on Tuesday, October 2, 2018, in the Hampton Convention Center.  The Mayor is deemed to be Hampton's official representative however, in lieu of the Mayor, Hampton may designate another member of City Council to vote on behalf of Hampton.  Such designation shall be submitted by September 21, 2018.

Council is being asked to designate a representative in the event that the Mayor is unable to be present to vote on Hampton's behalf.
