Consideration of appointment to Planning Commission
Purpose
PURPOSE/BACKGROUND:
***UPDATE FOR PLACEMENT ON SEPTEMBER 28, 2016 AGENDA***
At Council's September 14, 2016, meeting, Richard D. Rudnicki was appointed to the Planning Commission. Regrettably, on September 16, 2016, staff learned from Mr. Rudnicki that he must decline the appointment due to a change in his availability which would conflict with the meetings of the Hampton Planning Commission. As such, this matter is being returned to Council's agenda to appoint another individual to replace Andre McCloud who has served two full terms.
This individual will serve a first four year term which would expire on September 30, 2020.

Andre McCloud's second full term expires on August 30, 2016 and is not eligble for reappointment.
Council is being asked to appoint his replacement to expire on September 30, 2020.
There are individuals in the Board Bank who have expressed a desire to serve on this board. Those applications are being provided to Council.
