Consideration of Appointments to the Grievance Board
Purpose
PURPOSE/BACKGROUND:
Karen Alba no longer resides in Hampton, and, as such, is not eligible to continue to serve. Council is being asked to appoint an individual to fill the unexpired portion of the term until March 30, 2026.
David Rogers has served two consecutive terms and is not eligible for reappointment. Council is being asked to appoint an individual to serve a first term until July 31, 2029.
There are individuals in the Board Bank who have expressed a desire to serve on this board. Those applications are being provided to Council.

Al Henderson currently serves on the Citizens' Engagement Advisory Review Commission (CEARC) until July 30, 2029.
Philip Siff currently serves on the Mayor's Committee for People with Disabilities until February 28, 2028, and Hampton Animal Response Team Advisory Committee until February 28, 2027.
Remi Travis Wright currently serves on the Parks & Recreation Advisory Board until March 31, 2026, and Hampton Senior Citizens Advisory Committee until May 30, 2029.
