Closed session pursuant to Virginia Code Sections 2.2-3711.A.1, .3 and.7 to discuss appointments to the Virginia Municipal League policy committees; to discuss or consider the acquisition of real property for a public purpose and/or the disposition of publicly held real property in the areas of Buckroe and Downtown Hampton, where discussion in an open meeting would adversely affect the bargaining position or negotiating strategy of the city; and to consult with legal counsel employed or retained by the City regarding specific legal matters pertaining to Fort Monroe requiring the provision of legal advice by such counsel
