Consideration of appointment to the Peninsula Airport Commission
Purpose
PURPOSE/BACKGROUND:
The Commission is responsible for the operation of the Williamsburg/Newport News Airport and the development of the Williamsburg/Newport News Commercial Park, a business/industrial park owned by the Peninsula Airport Commission on lands surrounding the airport.
George Wallace's term expires on June 30, 2016. He is eligible for reappointment to a second term to expire on June 30, 2020.

Per City Manager Bunting, the Commission has recommended the reappointment of Mr. Wallace to another term.
