Consideration of appointments to Wetlands Board
Purpose
PURPOSE/BACKGROUND:
Leigh Morgan Chapman has served two consecutive terms and is not eligible for reappointment. Council is being asked to appoint a replacement until December 30, 2020.

Alternate #1 is Carole Garrison and Alternate #2 is Stephen Hughes who was appointed September 2016.
There are individuals in the Board Bank who have expressed a desire to serve on this board. Those applications are being provided to Council.
Christopher Wilcox currently serves on the Hampton Clean City Commission until September 2017
Martha Tennille currently serves on the Hampton Senior Citizens Advisory Committee and her term expires December 2016 and inelgible for reappointment
Edward Robinson currently serves on the Hampton Clean City Commission until January 2020

The recommendation from staff is to appoint Carole Garrison to replace Leigh Chapman, move Stephen Hughes to Alternate #1 and to appoint an Alternate #2 with either Edward Robinson (who would fill a demographic and geographic need), Michael Loveland or Rich Foley (who both would fill a geographic need).
