Closed session pursuant to Virginia Code Sections 2.2-3711.A(1), (3) and (6), respectively, to discuss appointments as listed on the agenda; to consider acquisition of real property in Buckroe for a public purpose, where discussion in open meeting would adversely affect the bargaining position and negotiation strategy of the City; and to consider the investment of public funds for the Hampton Jazz Festival and the Iverson Classic Basketball Championship where competition or bargaining are involved and, where if such discussions were conducted in open session, the financial interest of the City would be adversely affected.
