Resolution Approving Fiscal Year 2024 Second and Third Quarter Budget Adjustments
Purpose
PURPOSE/BACKGROUND:
The City Charter requires City Council to approve any appropriations transferred from one department to another department and any appropriation of additional revenues.
Discussion:
The attached represents budget adjustments required for the second and third quarters of fiscal year 2024. The adjustments which require City Council notification for this same time period will be sent under separate cover.
Impact:
There is no fiscal impact.

WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 6.12(d) of the City Charter of the City of Hampton, at any time during the fiscal year, the City Manager may transfer all or part of any unencumbered appropriation balance within a department, office, or agency, which shall be reported to City Council at least quarterly. Upon recommendation by the City Manager, the Council may by resolution transfer part or all of any unencumbered appropriation from one department, office or agency to another.
BE IT RESOLVED that the City Manager has recommended and, by this resolution, the City Council of the City of Hampton, Virginia approves the attached Fiscal Year 2024 Second and Third Quarter Budget Adjustments.
