Closed session pursuant to Virginia Code Sections 2.2-3711.A.1, .3, .5, and .7 to discuss appointments to the Planning Commission as well as those appointments as listed on the agenda; to discuss or consider the acquisition of real property for a public purpose in the Fox Hill area where discussion in an open meeting would adversely affect the bargaining position or negotiating strategy of the city; to discuss the expansion of an existing business in the Coliseum Central area where no previous announcement has been made of the business’ interest in expanding its facilities in Hampton, and to consult with legal counsel employed or retained by the City regarding specific legal matters pertaining to rezonings and performance agreement incentives requiring the provision of legal advice by such counsel.
