Consideration of appointments to Citizens Unity Commission (CUC)
Purpose
PURPOSE/BACKGROUND:
***UPDATE FOR NOVEMBER 9, 2016 MEETING ***
In addition to the vacancies listed below:
Robert Lewis unexpired term until June 30, 2019
Gloria Day unexpired term until June 30, 2016
Mr. Jodie James is no longer a resident of Hampton. As such, he is ineligible to continue his term and Council is requested to fill this vacancy until June 30, 2019.
Additionally there are other vacancies on the CUC.
There are individuals in the Board Bank who have expressed a desire to serve on this board. Those applications are being provided to Council.
The staff has RECOMMENDATION which is being provided to Council.

Council is asked to fill the following vacancies:
Jodie James unexpired term until June 30, 2019
Sarah Drew unexpired term until June 30, 2019
Joshua Head unexpired term until June 30, 2017
Patricia Leary unexpired term until June 30, 2018
Milton McDonald unexpired term until June 30, 2016
Terms on the CUC are for four years.
