Briefing on 757 Recovery and Resilience Action Framework
Purpose
PURPOSE/BACKGROUND:
The Hampton Roads Alliance (formerly the Hampton Roads Economic Development Alliance - HREDA) recently released the 757 Recovery & Resilience Action Framework. The framework details goals to help the region recover from the COVID-19 pandemic, and includes the input of over 200 regional leaders representing all sectors of our communities. The broad goals: building regional unity; growing new jobs; growing, retaining and attracting talent; building resiliency and advancing regional infrastructure. President and CEO Doug Smith has requested the opportunity to present the framework to all local governments so that the elected officials and residents have a better understanding of the economic development efforts of the region.
