Consideration of Appointments to the Athletic Hall of Fame

 

Purpose

PURPOSE/BACKGROUND:

 

Marty O'Brien has served one term and is eligible for reappointment to another term.  Council is being asked to reappoint him to serve a second term until March 31, 2026.

 

Bud Porter and James Johnson have served two consecutive terms and are not eligible for reappointment.  Council is being asked to appoint two individuals to serve first terms until March 31, 2026.

 

It is recommended that Marquis Bryant not be reappointed due to his lack of participation.  Council is being asked to appoint an individual to serve a first term until March 31, 2026.

 

Council is being asked to appoint an individual to serve a first term until March 31, 2026 to fill a vacancy.

 

Summary:                     One reappointment, Four appointments for vacancies.

 

There are individuals in the Board Bank who have expressed a desire to serve on this board. Those applications are being provided to Council.
