Title: Correction of Appointment Terms for Citizens Police Advisory Group, Peninsula Agency and Aging, and Neighborhood Commission

Title

Correction of Appointment Terms for Citizens Police Advisory Group, Peninsula Agency and Aging, and Neighborhood Commission

Purpose

PURPOSE/BACKGROUND:

At the December 11, 2024, legislative session of City Council, the information for the action on some appointments was misstated.  The record should be corrected as follows:

On the Citizens Police Advisory Group, it was stated that Stephen Deane would serve as a Faith Community Representative until January 31, 2026, however Mr. Deane was already an appointee (in another role - Community at Large) with a term ending on February 28, 2026.  As such his first term end date, regardless of role, should be February 28, 2026.  It was also stated that Tony Sandefur would serve as a Non-Profit Representative until June 30, 2026, however Mr. Sandefur was already an appointee (in another role - Community at Large) with a term ending of June 30, 2026.  As such his first term end date, regardless of role, should be June 30, 2026.

On Peninsula Agency on Aging, it was stated that Thomas Fukawa was appointed to an unexpired term on the Peninsula Agency on Aging, however it is actually a first full term and the end date is, as stated, December 31, 2027.

On the Neighborhood Commission, it was stated that Pam Kelly was to fill the unexpired portion of the District 4 term until June 30, 2027, however the correct term end date is September 30, 2025.

Recommendation:

Rec

Approve the term corrections as outlined above so that the legislative record and boards and commissions rosters will be accurate.
