Whereas, Hampton Division of Fire & Rescue received $5,675 in donations during FY15 and FY16;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Hampton, Virginia that the sum of $5,675 be appropriated from unassigned fund balance to the Hampton Division of Fire & Rescue budget.
Purpose
Hampton Division of Fire & Rescue fire stations receive donations from the citizens of Hampton to purchase items for the stations that all shifts can benefit from and the Fire Prevention Section receives donations for the annual Five-Alarm Festival and Chili Cook-Off.

That the City Council of the City of Hampton, VA appropriate those funds to Hampton Division of Fire & Rescue's FY17 budget.
