City Council "Ride Along" with Hampton Roads Transit (HRT)
Purpose
PURPOSE/BACKGROUND:
At the suggestion of Councilman Moffett, a Hampton Roads Transit (HRT) Ride Along has been arranged. HRT has been working on reviewing all City routes and will present some suggested changes in the near future. The Ride Along will enable Council to become more familiar with HRT service in the City. This is primarily a learning opportunity. We have structured this as a meeting so that we are legal if Council chooses to discuss policy options. However, there is no formal presentation package to provide in advance.
UPDATE 6/26/17: Ms. Gaylene Kanoyton is identified as a citizen representative in the attendees list but should properly be identified as a Gubernatorial appointee to the Transportation District Commission of Hampton Roads.
