Consideration of appointments and establishing term limits on the Citizens Police Advisory Group (CPAG)
Purpose
PURPOSE/BACKGROUND:
Council is being asked to specify the term limits for those individuals appointed at the December 13, 2017 meeting as follows:
Andrew McCloud, Faith Community Representative, appointed to a four year term to expire December 31, 2021;
LaMont Moss, Faith Community Representative, appointed to a three year term to expire December 31, 2020;
Robert Boester, Legal Community Representative, appointed to a four year term to expire December 31, 2021;
Elizabeth Andrews, Hampton Citizens' Unity Commission Representative, appointed to a three year term to expire December 31, 2020;
William Beach, Community at Large Representative, appointed to a four year term to expire December 31, 2021;
John Gately, Community at Large Representative, appointed to a three year term to expire December 31, 2020;
Ann Cherry, Civil Rights Organization Representative, appointed to a four year term to expire December 31, 2021;
Angelo Suggs, Jr., Youth Representative, appointed to a one year term to expire June 30, 2019.
Council is being asked to appoint John Welters (background check is completed and approved) as the Neighborhood Commission Representative to a three year term to expire December 31, 2020.
