Resolution Authorizing the Execution of a Use Agreement Between the City of Hampton and South Eastern Virginia Aquatics ("SEVA") to use the Hampton Aquatics Center Pool
Purpose
PURPOSE/BACKGROUND:
The City has had an ongoing relationship; with SEVA to allow the use of the Hampton Aquatics Center pool. SEVA is currently using the pool under a right of entry agreement to allow SEVA's use of the pool for one year, commencing September 3, 2018, with four additional one-year terms. SEVA will be paying $13.00 per practice lane.

Body
WHEREAS, the City has had an ongoing relationship with SEVA to allow the use of the Hampton Aquatics Center pool;
WHEREAS, SEVA is currently using the pool under a right of entry agreement which expires in March;
WHEREAS, SEVA and City Staff have formalized the terms of a use agreement to allow SEVA's use of the pool for one year, commencing September 3, 2018 with four additional one-year terms;
WHEREAS, SEVA will be paying $13.00 per practice lane, per hour, per day; and
WHEREAS, the Council has determined that the terms and conditions of use agreement attached hereto are acceptable.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Council of the City of Hampton, Virginia, that it approves the use agreement and, accordingly, the City Manager or her authorized Designee is authorized to execute and deliver to South Eastern Virginia Aquatics the use agreement in substantially the same form as hereto attached.
