Resolution Authorizing the Execution of an In-Building Radio Agreement Between the City of Hampton and T-Mobile Northeast LLC for the Purpose of Installing and Operating a Wireless Distributed Radio System with Service Node(s), Radio Nodes, and any Necessary LAN Equipment at the Hampton Roads Convention Center
Purpose
PURPOSE/BACKGROUND:
T-Mobile Northeast LLC ("T-Mobile") desires to utilize space at the Hampton Roads Convention Center ("HRCC") for the installation and operation of a Wireless Distributed Radio System with Service Node(s), Radio Nodes, and any necessary LAN equipment ("WDRS System") together with a space for cables, fibers, or the equivalent connecting such WDRS System, whether through conduit or otherwise, as described in the design plans attached to the In-Building Radio Agreement. This system will enhance coverage for parties within and in the vicinity of the HRCC. Pursuant to §§15.2-1800 and 15.2-2100 of the Code of Virginia of 1950, as amended, a public hearing is required before the City may enter into an agreement for those purposes.

WHEREAS, the City is the owner of real property located at 1610 Coliseum Drive (the "Property"), commonly referred to as the Hampton Roads Convention Center;
WHEREAS, T-Mobile Northeast LLC ("T-Mobile") desires to use certain portions of the Property for installation and operation of a Wireless Distributed Radio System with Service Node(s), Radio Nodes, and any necessary LAN equipment ("WDRS System");
