Purpose

PURPOSE/BACKGROUND:

Additional funds are needed to complete the FY19 contribution to Hampton Roads Transit (HRT).  This action is necessitated due to a FY18 true up invoice that was received mid-year FY19 as well as the FY19 HRT expenditure invoices being presented at a budget higher than previously communicated to the City. 

Impact:

Appropriation of $90,743.00 from Committed Fund Balance (Hampton Roads Transit) to Outside Agencies:  Departmental Support - Contractual (Hampton Roads Transit)

                     NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF HAMPTON, VIRGINIA that an amount, not to exceed $90,743.00, be appropriated from Committed Fund Balance (Hampton Roads Transit) to Outside Agencies: Departmental Support - Contractual (Hampton Roads Transit) to fund the FY19 fourth quarter payment to Hampton Roads Transit.
